Indirect Heating Type
This type of indirect heating system is most suitable for hard water areas. Under this system, there is a provision for two inner containers. One is used for raw water and the other is for distilled water. Distilled water, which fills the collector and outer container, is heated due to solar radiation. Then thermosyphon causes the distilled water to heat the inner container containing raw water. This type of heating system is cost competitive and simple in operation.
